I am in the process of going from Blog.com to Blogger to WordPress. Please bear with me.This is the only way I have found to move a Blog from Blog.com is to move it to a valid Host and then to the one I really want.  I am going to be posting from WordPress as foodiszen.wordpress.com.

Yes, I am pissed, irritated, annoyed and so much more.
I know there is something I am learning through this.

Thank you!!!!

All the best

Going to my room to make Beef n Veg Soup…….YUM

Til next time…….:-)

Second Farmer’s Market of the Season (11, May).

Strawberries (YUM), more Baguettes, Rye Bread (OH MY), Dragon Plant (yet to be planted), Sesame Bread, Cinnamon Roll, Croissants, Spring Onions, Chive Cheddar, Cheese Dip and Key Lime Pie.

Every week I am going to introduce my Farmer’s Market Vendors. You have heard and know about my passion for Bonjour La Parisienne Bakery. The Yummiest Baked goods.

This week I would like to share Bakery 314- They have Jams, Buckles (which I now know are what I call Cobblers or Crisps), and terrific Pies. We have purchased 2 Pies (so far) the first was a Strawberry/Rhubarb this week a Key Lime. They sell 2 sizes. Which for me ROCKS. I love the smaller to munch on with my Guy on Saturday evenings watching Dr. Who. You can find them at facebook.com/bakery314…go check them out, terrific YUM !!!!!

FYI- Sorry once again. Yes, I will be posting the Market on Sundays as soon as my Host gets their act together.

Looking forward this Saturday to more Strawberries, Zucchini and more…….

Til next time…..Enjoy

From the lower left clockwise: Blueberry Muffin, Croissants, Baguette, Sub-Rolls from Bonjour la Parisienne Bakery. Jerusalem Artichokes, Celeriac, Parsnips, Asparagus, Fresh Crunch Pickles, Aged Monterey Jack Cheese,  Spring Onions, Greens and a beautiful Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie from a new Vendor. In the background are plants: Dill, Anaheim Peppers, Cherokee Tomato, A Lettuce Box and A Bleeding Heart.

This coming Farmer’s Market look forward to the start of Strawberry season.

FYI-

I need to fill you in on this past week. Yes, I know my post should have been to you no later than Sunday. Not my fault. My Host was down for 5 plus days. For me that was a total pain. For those who use this Host for their monetary survival…I feel for you. We got as many of us together as we could and all submitted support tickets. Not sure if it worked. What I do know is they were up within hours of our deluge of tickets.

I will be going to another Host. I was going to before. But moving a Blog from this Host to another isn’t easy. I will start from this post and move forward. In time I will have the past year moved also.

Thank you to all for Rockin’ n Rollin with this idea of mine !!!!!

Til next time…..enjoy

My Guy  bought me this Cuisinart Soup Maker. I guess that’s a hint to make soups. Ok, Soup Monster here’s another Healthy Simple Soup.

Simply Yum Tomato Soup

1 Carton Vegetable Broth

1 can V-8

Fresh Basil to taste

Garlic to taste

a splash of Balsamic Vinegar-White or Classic you choose

3 Cups Roasted Tomatoes or a large can of Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes

A drizzle of Agave Syrup

This makes about 4-5 servings.

This is the basic version. Play with it. If you aren’t making it Vegan nor Dairy-free Parmesan is a terrific addition. Watching your Sodium omit the V-8 and up the seasoning. It really isn’t much Sodium for the quantity. I just throw everything into my Soup Maker. Cook for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally……Done

Til next time….I’m going to my room 🙂
