Geekin and Lovin it….We had the wonderful opportunity a couple of years ago to see the Discovery land at Dulles Airport. Today we went to see it at home at the Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian. Way to cool……

Here she is in all her Glory.

We also went up to the Observation Tower and if you look really close. You will see a Jet landing.

This is a pic of the Control Tower at Dulles Airport from the Observation Tower. I could spend all day there watching the Planes come in and listening to the Control Tower.

Just a really neat way to spend an afternoon. We also went to eat more on that terrific experience to come.

Til tomorrow…..Go and Play

It’s Friday and I’m in a goofy mood. I thought I’d share a few treasures I’ve found.

The Garden sign is from Amazon.com. It included a Stake and it is also set up to be hung. SWEET!!!!

The Blood Splatter Spoon Rest and Cutting-board are sold individually at ThinkGeek.com.The Spoon rest is over sized and I like that it isn’t breakable. The Cutting-board drips over the side of the counter. These things make me smile.

Til next time……SMILE 🙂

wpid-20140525_153235.jpgVeggies: Summer Squash aka Crookneck, Sweet Peppers, Peas, Asparagus and Spring Onion aka Scallion.

wpid-20140527_181354.jpgPretty Pasta ready for our weekday lunches. I like mine on a bed of Lettuce.

Pasta you choose. This is a good way to use Gluten-free Pastas. They will soak up the dressing. So, you might need to use more.

Veggies you choose

Fresh made or high quality Italian Dressing

Play with it, I forgot the Tomatoes til the next day.

Chop the Veggies and shuck the Peas. Cook til tender.

Cook the Pasta. Mix well and chill.

Til next time…..enjoy!!!

I had forgotten about this Simple Weeknight Yum.

wpid-20140521_190456.jpgThe finished Muffin with a fresh Farmer’s Market Salad

wpid-20140521_175908.jpgI chose Ham, Pepperoni, Cheddar Cheese and Asparagus.

wpid-20140521_175916.jpgI sliced the Grand Biscuits in half. I happen to have what they call a ‘Texas Muffin Pan”. It is large and deep.

wpid-20140521_181448.jpgI sprayed the pan. Placed a Biscuit slice on the bottom added a layer of YUM. and repeated.

wpid-20140521_184847.jpgBaked them by the directions on the Muffin package. A couple of them were 3 layers.

wpid-20140521_190024.jpgDone!!!

Choose your favorite ingredients. You notice that I topped them? That’s so you know what is in them. And it looks pretty too.

Til next time…….Enjoy 🙂

Take a moment this Memorial Day to remember those lost.

Til next time….Be Safe !!!!!!
