away for a day trip.  To the Bedford, Pa. area.  For important sentimental reasons.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather, not that the weather would have mattered.  We take this journey no less than twice a year and have experienced every form of weather possible on the east coast.  Snow, Hail, Sleet, Rain, Wind, Heat, Humidity, you name a weather occurrence that is possible during the Summer or Winter here and we’ve seen it.

We drive up in the morning.  Do the wonderful task of why we are there.  We eat, usually at Ed’s Steakhouse in Bedford.  Always a good meal.  Go there on a Friday and eat to your hearts content fresh yummy Fish n Chips.  Of course they have really good Steak. They also have one of the best New England Clam Chowders I have had in a restaurant.

I like to  stop at a terrific Produce, Candy, Seasonal and everything store called Mile Level Farm Market.  We always find treasures.  This trip Jams, Candy, Oranges, Onions, Apple Cider, Sweet Peppers and a Dragonfly Stain Glass Piece.

Traffic coming home was smooth until we hit the Loudoun area.  We expected that since it is 2 weeks before Christmas.  When we finally arrived home we weren’t hungry at all.  I had a few things I wanted to get done and we just wanted to sit and breathe for a bit.  Then the hunger bug hit.  What do you munch on since you had a lunch of fresh-yummy food.

Well, this is where my friend Stavros comes into play- YEA!!- THANK YOU !!
