We couldn’t find a local protest against Monsanto and GMOs. So, we went and played at our local Farmer’s Market. Like we do on Saturday mornings. This was our way to protest. By sticking to our guns and avoiding commercial business’.

Pictured (from the lower left clockwise) Sweet Peppers, Tomatoes, Summer Squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Lots of Potatoes, Hot Peppers, Cucumbers, Carrots, My beloved Poblanos, and various late season Beans.

Apples: Red Delicious (not a favorite of mine), Golden Crisp, Jonah, Granny Smith, Gala. I forgot the other names. Oh well they are all fresh and Yummy.

FYI: I am disappointed that with the lack of information available to be able to find protests here in Northern Virginia. The lack of awareness really shouldn’t surprise me. I really should be used to it by now. With that said I will continue to do what I do and share our Flexatarian lifestyle of fresh and simple YUMS .And yes with a rant on occasion or two 🙂

Til next time……..

Can't wait to hear from you
