I have talked about it. I have written about it. I have told you about it,  but I haven’t shared it with you.

Simple Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients pictured above. I am reading and learning about how to write better recipes. It is not a talent of mine. I am one of those few that have a natural instinct for taste and timing. So please bear with me. I truly wish I could give you measurements for this recipe. I can share with you what I did.

I boiled water in a large pot for cooking the Pasta. I took a small heavy bottomed saucepan. If you have a Double-Boiler by all means use it and melted a 1/3 stick of Butter added 2 cloves of Garlic (finely minced) and let them talk for a few minutes. I then stirred in  1-2 tablespoons of TJ’ Grated Cheese Blend   and added 1/4 c or so of Sour Cream. Stirred well and lowered the temperature to low. You want the Cheese to be incorporated and the consistency to be a little thinner than the consistency of Sour Cream.20130128_172045

By now the water was boiling so I added the pasta. I chose  Linguine because it was in the pantry.

Served with a simple green salad with Newman’s Family Recipe Italian Dressing. I finish my Fettuccine Alfredo with Fresh Cracked Pepper…..Oh My what a YUM.
